The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. Plan on joining your church family and the community on this special day, as we pray with conviction that God would continue to “shed His grace on thee.” The prayer vigil will be held from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Mason Chapel Prayer Room, and the prayer service will take place from 12:00 noon to 12:40 p.m., in Mason Chapel.
