First Time?

We're so glad you're thinking about attending church with us at Asbury United Methodist. Here's what to expect, and please explore the other links in the sidebar for additional information.

Once you decide which service you'd like to attend, and you arrive at Asbury, look for the signs directing you to your own personal parking space indicated by our 1st Time Visitors signs. These spaces are located at each of our three main entrances to the building. If you arrive after worship services have started and find our parking lot full, additional parking is located across the street at Union High School. It is our pleasure to transport you to our front door using our shuttle service. We will return you to your auto when you are ready to leave.

Now, you'll come in through one of our three main building entrances to the church, or the Mason Chapel, depending on which service you've chosen to attend. The Mason Chapel is the smaller building to the north of the main sanctuary. Again, you'll be greeted by smiling Asbury members who are familiar with things and can direct you where you need to go.

A Welcome Center with general information regarding Children's Ministry, childcare, Classes, etc., as well as a map of the church, is located at all entrances. There are also hanging banners, (photo) that are color coded to assist you around the facility.

You'll receive a copy of the weekly bulletin and an usher can show you to a seat of your choice. (Ask him or her where the best acoustics are because our music is fantastic!)

We'd love to have you join a community (small group) and you can pick up a community list of descriptions, times and room numbers to peruse and perhaps visit, if not this time, maybe next.
