Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of Asbury’s Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "Eight Recovery Principles” and “Christ-centered 12-Steps” based on the Beatitudes. This experience allows us to "be changed." By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually and become free from our dysfunctional, compulsive, addictive behaviors. This freedom creates a new peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Weekly meetings include a fellowship dinner, large and small groups, ending with dessert and fellowship. We meet every Monday evening in the Breakaway area starting at 6:00pm. This is a powerful and exciting recovery ministry for anyone humble enough to admit to the effect of sin on his or her life. As we progress through the ministry we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power--Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.
