Volunteer Opportunities
We are blessed to have hundreds of children who are the future of the church. Every year at this time we recruit volunteers to serve in the Children’s Ministry so that we can continue to provide meaningful experiences and accommodate the growing number of young families who are making Asbury their home.
Sunday morning volunteer opportunities are on a rotating basis on a monthly schedule.
At this time, the Children’s Ministry has a great need for volunteers. Please consider saying “yes” by signing up to help in Asbury’s Faith Zone. Come to the foyer after service for more information. Blessings are guaranteed!
Wednesday Night Helpers: We need adult help on Wednesday Nights from 7pm – 8pm with our Kindergarten – 5th graders. Volunteers simply need to be available to help kids with fun activities. Please call Kim Renkema 392-1159 or krenkema@asburytulsa.org if you are interested.
If you would be interested in serving, please call 392-1160 for Preschool and 392-1175 for Elemenrary to be placed. Thank you for your gracious service to the Children’s ministry!
Nursery & Preschool can always use snacks for Sunday Mornings. If you are able, could you please help by donating snacks such as: Cheez-its, Goldfish, Graham crackers, Ritz crackers, Vanilla wafers, or Pretzels. Please NO Chocolate or Peanut based products. Please drop off your donations at the Children’s welcome desk. Thank you for helping support Children’s Ministry.
Small group leaders and teachers need to volunteer for 1st thru 6th grade at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
Child Protection/Security needed for Sunday mornings.
- Commitment is 1 hour per week every other month for a year.
