International Family
Missionary Support
Twenty-eight families are supported under the global outreach budget. They are involved in various ministries and are in 17 countries including Costa Rica, Mexico, Ecuador, Guatemala, Estonia, Hungary, the Middle East, Philippines, Tanzania, East Asia, Central Asia, Columbia, and Israel. Several travel world-wide related to their ministry. Twelve of our missionaries are people who grew up in Asbury or are currently members.
Sarah Adams

Sarah will target Malawian youth, ages 6-25, who have not heard or responded to the Gospel. This age group is over 50% of the population of Malawi. She will conduct soccer ministry, church day camps and other youth programs. She will also assist other SIM team members in the Hope for AIDS program started by SIM. Sarah is a long time member of Asbury. |

Tim and Daina serve through the Mission Society doing outreach in depressed areas of Quito and are also working in agriculture projects. Projects in which they are involved include a bee/honey project, strawberry
growing, model farms, and youth ministry. They have secured a larger home this past year which also serves as a community center. They do evangelism and discipleship in this center.

Herb is a long-time Lutheran Missionary in Tanzania. He and his wife Kirsten are retired and live in Iowa. However, Herb spends much of the year as a volunteer in Tanzania coordinating the work of the mission district that was established in relation to Asbury ’s adoption of the Kami people.

They now serve churches in southern Estonia and also teach at the Baltic Seminary. They are involved in church planting, congregation-al development, and Christian education. Kaupo is in his 2nd year of the International
Beeson Program at Asbury Seminary earning his Doctor of Ministry degree. They have three young sons, Joosep, Joel and Johannes.
