Volunteer Opportunities

’08 Rio Bravo Mexico Mission Trips – April 23–27 and November 12-16
If you have a calling to serve in missions then the trip to Mexico to build casitas and classrooms is an excellent opportunity. No experience required and work intensity is moderate. Cost: $600 (scholarships available on request)

Car Care Ministry – Work with other men to assist Asbury widows and single moms with their car needs: wash, vacuum, clean windows, check tires, check fluid levels, recommend needed repairs. Four hours, five times each year.

Event Photographer – Provide a record of men’s ministry annual events through the use of a digital and/or video camera. Three hours, five times each year.

Golf Tournaments – Help plan, register, sign-in, or solicit sponsorships for spring and fall golf tournaments. Two days, twice each year.

Home Improvement – Assist Asbury widows and single moms with minor home repairs and maintenance. Six hours, five times each year.

Annual Men's Retreat – Assist with design, planning or administration of the annual Men's Retreat.

Prayer Breakfast – Set-up, cook, clean-up, collect money, manage attendance, facilitate group prayer, or recruit speakers for each Wednesday Prayer Breakfast. Two hours each week.

Accountability Groups - Meet with 4 or 5 men weekly to support, encourage, and pray for one another.

Special Needs – Assist with special projects and events such as conferences, rallies, seminars, etc., for men’s ministry. Two days, three times each year.
