2008 Project School Supplies Restore Hope Ministries
- reaches out to low income families and we can help share God’s love by providing school supplies for these children for their first day of school. Last year 2,294 children were helped. This year’s goal is to help 2,500 children. Donations of $25 will provide one child with a full set of school supplies. Donations can be sent directly to Restore Hope, 2960 Charles Page Blvd., Tulsa 74127 or to Beth McCalman.
Recycling Efforts
- Campbell’s soup labels & Box Tops-benefit Red Bird Mission in Kentucky. (These help purchase vans, school equipment, and sports equipment.) Trim the UPC code and Labels for Education symbol from the soup labels.
- Campbell’s soup labels & Swanson labels-benefit Cookson Hills in Oklahoma
- Medicine (if still in date)-benefit Good Samaritan
- Small soaps and shampoo-benefit medical missions and Circle of Care
- Old eyeglasses-for adults or children-benefit medical missions
- Old cell phones-benefit Little Light House
- Old home printer cartridges-benefit Walt Whitman Elementary School
- Hearing Aids-collected by Deaf Perceptions Community
- Clothing, small household items-benefit Restore Hope
- Operation Hope collects the following receipts: Akin’s Natural Food Market, Drysdales, Mary Ruby Apparel, McDonald’s, QuikTrip, Wal-Mart, Sanders Nursery, Yale Cleaners, Ziegler Art Framing just to name a few.
- Restore Hope collects the following items for the "HouseKeeping Kit": 12 Rolls of Toilet Paper, 4 Boxes of Facial Tissue, 4 Bars of Hand Soap, Bottle of Bleach, Laundry Detergent, All Purpose Cleaner, Can of Cleanser, Bottle of Dish Soap, Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Bottle of Glass Cleaner, 2 Rolls of Paper Towels, 3 Scrub Sponges
- Newspapers, copy paper, catalogues, etc.-collected in the recycle bins in the Asbury parking lot-benefit Asbury
